Terrence J. "Terry" Schoenecker, age 55, of New Prague, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Le Sueur.  Terry was born on August 2, 1964 in New Prague to Erwin H. and Mary E. (Ademmer) Schoenecker.  He grew up in the Heidelberg area, attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School and graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School.  Terry worked all his life in retail for a variety of grocery/department stores.  He was a collector of many things and loved nothing more than spending time with his family.  Terry left a legacy of a huge heart; he was kind and considerate and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  In recent months, he blossomed during his residence at Ridgeview Medical Center, delighting residents and staff with his ability to draw out and visit with everyone.

Terry is survived by his siblings, Francis Schoenecker of Montgomery, Mary (William) Nichols of Shakopee, James Schoenecker of Shakopee, JoAnn (Dennis) Seurer of New Prague, Dianne (John) Maxson of Montgomery; many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Private family Mass will be held with burial at St. Scholastica Cemetery in Heidelberg.
