Terry Dean Fredrich, age 79, of New Prague, MN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 30, 2018, at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on May 18, 1938,  in Sisseton, SD.  Terry graduated from Dawson High School in 1956, where he was an all-star athlete.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in education from St. Cloud State University and was also a member of the St. Cloud State Basketball team.  Terry impacted many students during his teaching career at Shakopee High School, from which he retired after 30 years.  He was renowned for his love of sports and was a gifted and competitive athlete.  He also enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marsha; parents, Ray and Bernice;  sister, Arlene Langager.  He is survived by his children, Lynn Eaton (Tom Hribar) and Jay (Missy) Fredrich; grandchildren, Jon, Chris, Sam, Anna, Jaida, Addison, and Brody; many nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in New Prague with Pastor Ben Hilding officiating.  The visitation will take place at church 2 hours prior to service from 9-11 AM.
