Ronald Francis Lapic, age 82, of Rochester, Mn. passed away on May 28, 2026. 

Ron was born on Oct. 4, 1943 in Faribault to Clement and Adeline (Malecha) Lapic. He was raised in Veseli, Mn. and attended Most Holy Trinity Catholic School. Ron graduated from New Prague High School in 1961. He married Ms. Paula Qualle, his wife of 46 years, on October 20, 1979 in Rochester. Ron spent most of his working life as the head chef of Madonna Towers in Rochester. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and his mother's beloved Minnesota Twins. Ron and Paula spent their summers camping and fishing in the company of their dogs: TC, Sonny and Angelina. Ron enjoyed playing pool, cards and woodworking projects.

Ron is survived by:His wife Paula; Son Terry (Shannon); Daughter Tammy (Tony); Son Bradley (Jessica);6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Siblings Carol (John) Pavek; Lee(Rita) Lapic; Nancy (Randy) Fierst; Joyce(Dick) Bell; and Judi (Rick) Lepa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son Troy. 

The family will have a private celebration of life at a date and time to be determined.
