Ricky Fehler, age 59, of New Prague, died peacefully after an extended illness on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Methodist Hospital. Ricky was born on October 31, 1958 to Robert and Diana (Zick) Fehler in St. Paul.  He was raised in the Apple Valley area and graduated from Rosemount High School. Ricky worked as a heavy equipment operator and was now retired. He was a member of IUOE Local 49. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars and tractors and farming with his dad on the family farm in Jordan. He also enjoyed racing cars, a pastime which earned him many trophies. His devoted and constant companion was his dog, Fox.

Ricky is survived by his children, Tanya Fehler (Mark Novak) of New Prague, Chad Fehler (Shaquala Ferrara) of New Prague, Ben Fehler of Indiana, Aaron Fehler of Indiana; grandchildren, Logan, George, Taya, & Jayden; sister, Sherry Parish of Farmington; step-mother, Joyce Fehler of Apple Valley; step-brother, Joel (Karen) Culver of Elko. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Fehler & Dianna Fehler-Culver; brother, Randy Fehler; sister, Debra Doyle-Oswald; step-brother, Todd Culver.

There will be a visitation from 7-9 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Bruzek Funeral Home.
