Rebecca L. “Becky” East, age 53, of New Prague, died Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital New Prague.  Becky was born January 29, 1962, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Leo and Cathy (Jensen) East.  She was raised in Brainerd and graduated from Brainerd High School.  She lived in Savage, Burnsville, Grand Rapids, and finally New Prague.  Becky worked in the Customer Service Department for Commercial Lines Insurance.  She enjoyed activities that fed her creative personality such as coloring, arts & crafts, making wreaths, flowers, and planting.

Becky is survived by her son, Michael Poucki of Minneapolis and daughter, Amanda Poucki of New Prague; mother, Cathy East-Jensen of Brainerd; brothers, Todd (& April) East of Grand Rapids, MN and Ron East. She is preceded in death by her father, Leo East.
