Raymond Weber, age 79, of Le Sueur, formerly of New Prague, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at MN Valley Health Care in Le Sueur, MN. Ray was born on January 6, 1933 in Reynolds Township, Todd County, MN to Clarence S. & Oliva M. (Griep) Weber. He was in the Air Force from 1952 – 57 and worked as a brick- and block-layer in his private life. Ray enjoyed the outdoors and particularly, fishing.
Ray is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Dale Weber of Zumbro Falls, Sharon Madlo; and many grand-nieces and -nephews, including Melissa (& Jake) Gilpin of New Market; 1 sister, Kay (& Raymond) Jorgenson of St. Paul. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: Richard, James, Donald, & Lawrence; 3 sisters: Marcella BAxter, Lyla Morse, Kathleen Smith.
Services for Raymond will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Wagner officiating. Visitation will take place from 10 – 11 AM. Burial will occur at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery with military rites being conducted there. A lunch will be held prior to going to Ft. Snelling at the Legion Clubroom in New Prague.
