Peter A. Kohout, age 39, of rural Le Center, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 at his home.  Pete was born December 30, 1972 in New Prague to Arthur & Hazel (Zaudtke) Kohout. He graduated from Jordon High School and most recently, for the last 10 years had lived in Lexington (rural Le Center).  He was a farm hand and worked construction.  He enjoyed hunting & fishing and participating with the D. & J. tug-of-war team. Pete is survived by his parents, Arthur & Hazel, siblings, Faye (& Todd) Ahlbrecht, Herb (& Brenda) Kohout, Linda (& Ron) Schmid, Nancy (& John) Buschel, Sally (& Lane) Wegener, Charles Kohout, Kenneth (& Lynn) Kohout, Steven Kohout; 18 nieces & nephews, 10 grand-nieces & grand-nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Fish Lake Immanuel Lutheran Church in Prior Lake, with visitation 1 hour prior to service.  There will also be a visitation Friday night from 4 – 8 PM at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
