Ordelle was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, the NPFD Auxiliary, and her Bridge Club.  She loved golf, fishing, macramé, and was a beautiful seamstress.  She was passionate about classical music and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Ordelle was a woman of great poise and grace and embraced the changes that came into her life, including mastery of the computer.  She was on Skype as recently as two days before her death.

Ordelle is survived by her children, Eugene (Sally) Schmid, Jr. of New Prague, Jon (Fern) Schmid of Sun City West, AZ, Lana (Ken) Witt of New Prague, Donna (Guido) Mann of Pinetop, AZ, Brad (Wendy) Schmid of Ham Lake; sister, Phyllis Cooper of Edina; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene on February 6, 2012; grandson, Jeffrey Schmid; granddaughter, Alissa Witt; sister, Arlene Ros-Crum, brother, Dr. Albert Flor.
