Michael K. Biehn, 78, of New Prague, Minnesota passed away on August 26, 2015 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Biehn, sister Sally (Biehn) Lloyd and brother Billy Biehn. He is survived by his wife Margaret of 52 years, sisters Stasia (Russell) Christensen and Audrey (Ed) Stifter, sons and daughter Brian (Anna) Biehn, Brad Biehn and Mary Biehn, grandchildren Alex, Jake, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Bree and Michael Biehn.
Mike was born in Mankato, Minnesota on July 11, 1937 and raised in the Madison Lake area. He received his BA and MBA from Mankato State University. Mike was a longtime counselor at New Prague High School. His interests were his children and grandchildren, socializing with countless family and friends, his faith and the family cabin on Lake Washington. He was widely known as being selfless, wise, genuine, patient and had a great sense of humor.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, Minnesota at 10 am on Saturday, August 29th with visitation Friday, August 28th at Bruzek Funeral Home from 4 – 8 PM. Following mass and lunch, interment will be at Marysburg Cemetery in Madison Lake, Minnesota.
