Mary Schoenecker, age 89, of New Prague, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Mala Strana Health Care Center.  Mary was born March 31, 1925 in Heidelberg, MN to Frank R. & Ella (Prochaska) Ademmer.  Mary attended Le Suseur County District School and Montgomery High School.  She married Erwin H. Schoenecker on August 26, 1947 in Heidelberg and was a homemaker raising the couple’s 6 children.  Mary was a member of St. Scholastica CCW and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidery, playing the piano and guitar, camping, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children, Francis Schoenecker of Montgomery, Mary (& William) Nichols of Shakopee, James Schoenecker of Shakopee, JoAnn (& Dennis) Seurer of New Prague, Terry Schoenecker of New Prague, Dianne (& John) Maxson of Montgomery; brother, Gerald (& Mary) Ademmer of Heidelberg; sister-in-law, Stella Ademmer of New Prague.  She is preceded in death by her husband on August 18, 1999; her parents; 2 brothers, Francis “Fritz” Ademmer and a brother in infancy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 18th at 11:00 AM at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Heidelberg with Father David Barrett officiating.  Visitation will take place 3 hours prior to mass in church from 8:00 – 11:00 AM.  Burial will occur in the church cemetery and lunch will follow at the KC Hall in New Prague.
