Mary Jean Reedy, age 94, of Duluth, MN died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Essential Health Care Facility in Duluth.  Mary was born July 8, 1917, daughter of Joseph & Anna (Clos) Miller.  A lifetime resident of Duluth, Mary was employed in the Court & Field Services for Arrowhead Regional and St. Louis County Corrections Department for 30 years.  She was an active member in any community and service organizations.  Mary was awarded the Duluth Women of the Year and also was honored as Duluth Volunteer of the Year.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Mary (& Larry Ryder); niece, Nancy & Larry Anderson; many friends in both Duluth and New Prague.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held at the Duluth Women’s Club in Duluth on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  A Memorial Service will be held in New Prague at Bruzek Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
