Mary E. Larson, age 81, of New Prague, died April 10, 2012 at Mala Strana Health Care Center.  Mary was born Oct. 16, 1930, in Tamarack, MN to R.Thomas & Myrtle (Paxon) Brodhead.  The family moved to Fairhaven and then to Anoka.  She attended NW Bible College & MN School of Business.  Mary married Robert D. Larson on December 10, 1955 in Anoka, MN.  Mary worked as a secretary in the probation office of Hennepin County and at the Heart Institute and Office of Development at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital.  The couple moved to rural New Prague in 1964, where they raised their family.

Mary is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters, Sharon (& Barry) Moore & Carol (& Samih) El Ghandour; 4 grandchildren; brothers, James (& Pat) Brodhead, & David  (& Betty) Brodhead.  She was  preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Russell, Thomas, & Daniel; sister, Marilyn Brodhead.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 3 PM at Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Lakeville with visitation 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will occur at Fr. Snelling National Cemetery.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
