Margaret Bruzek, 98, of Macomb, IL passed away at 5:05 pm on Monday, November 9, 2105, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb. She was born May 7, 1917, in Helena, Montana, to Ambrose and Prudence (Hannifin) Clemo. She married Frank J. Bruzek on September 6, 1939, in New Prague, MN. He preceded her in death in March of 1991. Margaret’s true passion was her love for music. She graduated from Dunwoody School of Music in Minneapolis, MN. She spent many years teaching violin and piano in her home. Margaret enjoyed attending the Minnesota Orchestra, formerly the Minneapolis Symphony, to watch her husband Frank. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
Margaret is survived by two children, Fran (Bruce) Biagini, of Macomb, and Jim (Faye) Bruzek of Winthrop Harbor, IL; two grandsons, Jeffrey (Mary) Biagini, of Lake Villa IL and Dr. Tim Biagini, of Macomb; one great-granddaughter, Olivia Biagini. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Ambrose, and sister, Isabel.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 am Monday, November 16, 2015, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Monsignor Richard Pricco officiating. The visitation will be at St. Paul’s Church on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, from 2 – 4 pm with a wake service at 4 pm. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in New Prague, MN, conducted by Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Paul’s Parish Center Fund. Dodsworth-Piper-Walled Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
