Lorraine M. Farley, age 98, of New Prague, died peacefully Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center.  Lorraine was born August 4, 1919 in St. Paul, MN to Edward C. and Elizabeth (Karow) Farley.  She lived her entire working life in St. Paul, working as a hair dresser and eventually taking ownership of the shop.  She also helped with estate sales for John’s Antiques in St. Paul.  Lorraine retired in her 70’s and moved to New Prague in 2007, where she joined the community of Millpond Apartments.  Lorraine loved bingo and horse racing, enjoyed crocheting, loved to travel, and was a big fan of the Minnesota Twins.  Her niece, nephew, and grand-nephews were the loves of her life.

Lorraine is survived by her nephew, Ron (Bobbi) Farley of Eau Claire, WI; niece, Roselinn (Timothy) Nims of New Prague; grand-nephews, Stephen, Brian, & Peter Farley, Michael Fletcher.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roman Farley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.  Visitation will be held at church 1 hour prior to Mass.  Lunch will follow Mass at Millpond Apartments and a private burial will occur at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul, MN later that afternoon.
