Lois M. Wann, age 90, of New Prague, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at Mala Strana Health Care Center.  Lois was born March 12, 1922  in New Prague to Arthur J. & Eleanor R. (Remes) Suel.  She attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School and New Prague High School and then went on to attain a bachelor’s degree at the College of St. Catherine.  Lois married Eugene C. Wann  on April 21, 1945 in New Prague where they raised their family and Lois would become the editor of The New Prague Times .  She was also an owner of Suel Printing Company, on the Queen of Peace Hospital Board, St. Wenceslaus Elevator committee, and the Editorial Board of The Catholic Bulletin (now The Catholic Spirit ).  Lois was a member of the Minnesota Newspaper Association, the Half Century Club of MNA, and St. Wenceslaus CCW.  She enjoyed being involved in many bridge clubs and was a lover of all animals.

Lois is survived by her 2 sons, Chuck (& Jan) Wann and Art (& Ann) Wann both of New Prague; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene on May 23, 2009.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague.  Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 23 from 4 – 8 PM and Sat. from 7:30 – 10:30 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home.  Burial will occur in the church cemetery and a lunch will follow at the Lakeside Supper Club.
