Leon F. Seurer, age 65, of Eagan died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Paul. Leon was born July 26, 1947 to Ralph P. & Dorothy M. (Pauly) Seurer in New Prague.  He attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School and New Prague High School.  Following service in the US Army, he worked for New Prague AMPI and then for the remainder of his life with Viessmann Trucking of Gary, South Dakota.  Leon loved motorcycling & old cars; he particularly enjoyed car shows & fishing with his grandsons and was an avid hunter.

Leon is survived by his former wife, Diane Seurer of Eagan; son, Scott of Faribault; daughter, Rebecca (& Kevin) Dirksen of Rosemount; grandchildren, Mitchell Lee Seurer & Fritz Dirksen; siblings, Karen (& Gary) Barclay of Prior Lake, Randy (& Marlene) of New Prague, Patti (& Jim) Mahowald of New Prague, Debe Bohnsack (& Fiance, Ron Giesen) of New Prague.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Bruce Bohnsack.

Services will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 7 PM at Bruzek Funeral Home with visitation from 3 – 7 PM.
