Laura Lea Maus, age 23, of Chaska, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Brooklyn Center.  Laura Lea was born September 10, 1989 in Le Sueur, MN to David W. & Jody M. (Green) Maus.  She was raised in both Le Sueur and New Prague, attending public schools in New Prague and graduating from Le Sueur High School.  Laura Lea loved volleyball and photography and her nieces and nephews.

Laura Lea is survived by her father, David & Pauline Maus of New Prague; mother, Jody (& Eric) Lehman of Chaska; siblings, Tara Maus (& boyfriend, Tony Solomon) of Le Sueur, Kevin Maus of New Prague, Brianna Maus of New Prague, Patrick (& Ashlee) Green of Belle Plaine, Andrew Green (& fiance, Megan Dueck) of International Falls, Christopher Green of Le Sueur, Cassandra Hinderscheid (& fiance, Brad Womble) of Charlotte, NC, Amanda Hinderscheid of Mankato, Michael Hinderscheid of Bloomington, Melanie Hinderscheid of New Prague; grandmother, Shirley Wellcome of Superior, WI; grandmother, Regina Maus of Henderson; grandmother, Armella Hinderscheit of New Prague; 7 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her boyfriend, Otis Walker, III; grandfather, Walter Maus; grandfather, Edgar Green; favorite uncle, Everette Green, Jr.; Great-grandmother, Bertha Maus.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 9,2013 at 10:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Wagner officiating.  Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 8 from 4 – 7 PM and Wednesday morning from 7:30 – 10:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home.  Interment will occur at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Henderson after the lunch at the KC Hall in New Prague.
