Joseph E. Sticha, age 56, of New Prague, died Tuesday in Scott County.  Joe was born August 5, 1955 in New Prague to Joseph S. & Dorothy C. (Tupy) Sticha.  He was born and raised on the family farm in Elko.  Joe worked at Despatch in Lakeville as an electrical assembler.  He owned and operated a bar in Granton, WI for 4 years before moving to New Prague most recently.

Joe is survived by his mother, Dorothy; siblings, Dennis (& Jane) Sticha, Marvin (& LuAnn) Sticha; Monica (& Ken) Studnicka, Dotty (& Denny) VonBank, Norbert (& Cathy) Sticha, Jayne (& Charlie) Bartusek, Carrie (& Glen) Hoffman; 26 nieces & nephews; 14 great-nieces & -nephews.  He was preceded in death by  his father, Joseph S.; sister, Shirley Sticha; nephew, Dale VonBank; niece, Melissa Sticha.

Private family services will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012.
