Janet L. (Moore) Ferrazzo, age 76, of New Prague died peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her home on Saturday, May 6, 2017.  Janet was born June 7, 1940 in St. Paul, Minnesota to William N. and Gladys L. (LeHew) Moore.  She grew up in St. Paul and attended St. Francis de Sales Parochial School and Our Lady of Peace High School in St. Paul.  On October 22, 1960, Jan married Dominick J. “Mick” Ferrazzo in St. Paul.  She worked as a Social Worker for Mala Strana Nursing Home in New Prague for 32 years and retired in 2012.  Besides serving as an ambulance attendant for the New Prague Volunteer Ambulance, Jan enjoyed baking, sewing, and making quilts.  She loved dogs and enjoyed attending her beloved grandchildren’s sporting events.

Janet is survived by her 4 children, Angie (& Ron) Seurer of New Prague, Tony (& Desiree) Ferrazzo of New Prague, Joe (& Julie) Ferrazzo of Lakeville, Mike (& Sue) Ferrazzo of Lakeville; 8 grandchildren, Tyler (& Leah) Seurer, Hannah Seurer (& Fiance, Dan Ring), Amanda (& Andrew) Owens, Erica (& Josh) Bisek, Allie, Jessica, Jordan, and Taylor Ferrazzo; sister, Sharon (& Ron) Tucker of Tony, WI; brother, Greg (& Kathy) Moore of West St. Paul; sister-in-law, Jackie Moore of Woodbury.  She is preceded in death by her husband Dominick “Mick” on April 12, 1994; parents; brother, Gary Moore; sister, Helen Amundsen.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 12, 2017, at 12:00 Noon at St. Patrick of Cedar Lake in rural Jordan with Father Michael Miller officiating.  Visitation will take place on Thursday from 4:30  – 8 PM at Bruzek Funeral Home and at church on Friday morning 1 hour prior to Mass.  Lunch will be held in the church social hall followed by burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
