James A. Todd, age 72, of Arlington, died tragically in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, July 24, 2017.  Jim was born on March 14, 1945 in Milton, WI.  He graduated from Milton High School and entered the US Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam war.  In 1985, he met Joyce Diethelm and the couple would remain together for 32 years.  Jim was a handyman and worked in carnivals for many years, the most recent being Merriam’s Midway.  After retiring from carnival work, he helped out with farm work.

Jim is survived by his life partner, Joyce Todd now of New Prague.

Private family services will be held with burial at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
