James Schroeder, age 82, of New Prague, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at his residence in Phillipp’s Square Apartments in New Prague.  James was born August 22, 1931 to James P. and Janet E. (Dondanville) Schroeder.  He was a pharmacist and took his training at the University of Minnesota and in  Brookings, South Dakota.  He worked at his profession at North Park Drug in Albert Lea, MN and K-Mart in Charlotte, North Carolina for another 10 years.  He served his country in the National Guard.  James was an avid hunter, gun smith as a hobby, loved his hunting dogs, and enjoyed singing with the residents at Phillipp’s Square.

Funeral services will be privately arranged by the family with assistance by Bruzek Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Aiden’s Cemetery, Freeborn  County, MN at a later date.
