James Patrick “Pat” Mullen, age 69, of Webster, died peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Sunday, January 8, 2017.  James was born March 15, 1947, in Glencoe, MN, to James B. and Mary Ellen (Mulligan) Mullen.  He grew up in Green Isle and graduated from Arlington High School.  On May 1, 1993, James married Heidi J. Junger in Grand Marais, MN.  He worked as a chief boiler operator and maintenance specialist for Bachman’s Inc.  James loved camping, the outdoors, and nature.  His greatest joy came from time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

James is survived by his wife, Heidi Mullen of Webster; children & grandchildren, James & Jennifer Mullen of Belle Plaine, Taylor, Kendra, & Colton, Lisa Monson of New Prague, Darian & Devon, Melissa & Marcus Hubmer of Rosemount, Wren & Isla, Sean & Natalie Mullen of Lenexa, KS, Rylie; 7 brothers & sisters and their spouses.  He is preceded in death by his parents, James & Mary Ellen Mullen.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 13, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Annunciation (Webster area country church), 4996 Hazelwood Ave., Northfield, MN with Father Denny Dempsey officiating.  Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to Mass at church.  Burial will occur at a later date in Green Isle.  Lunch will follow Mass in the Church Social Hall.
