In loving memory of Hazel Margaret Shima (Ince) who was 80 years old, lived in Shakopee, MN at Friendship Manor, had passed away on Friday April 10th and was surrounded by family and friends.

Hazel was born in Spring Lake Township to her parents Melvin and Dorothy (Teneyck) Ince, she had 6 siblings. Hazel was married for 54 years to Ron Shima (passed) and was self employed together with her husband.

Hazel is survived by her children: Jeff Nelson, Denise Nelson, Randy Nelson, Kathy Shima and Ron Jr., one brother Ray Ince, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Dorothy Ince, her sisters Loretta, Georget, Charolett, and June and her brother Clyde.

Hazel loved having family around, she loved the color red, loved listening to Johnny Cash and would always have a smart, witty comeback to keep a conversation entertaining.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Bruzek Funeral Home, 610 Main St. E., New Prague, MN 56071, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Czech National Cemetery.
