Harold R. Hinderscheid, age 76, of New Prague, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems Hospital in New Prague.  Harold was born February 26, 1937 in New Prague to John P. and Rose M. (Schaff) Hinderscheid.  Harold was a lifelong resident of the Heidelberg/New Prague area.  He attended Le Sueur County Distric School and worked as a farmer.  He enjoyed his dogs and cat, playing cards, and traveling by car.

Harold is survived by his sister, Frances Yackly of New Prague, 5 nieces and nephews, and many grand-nieces and -nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2013 at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Heidelberg with Fr. Kevin Clinton officiating.  Visitation will take place Sunday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Monday morning from 7:30 – 9:30 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.  Burial will occur at a later date in St. Scholasica Cemetery in Heidelberg.  Following Mass there will be a lunch at the Legion Clubroom in New Prague.
