Francis E. Schoenecker, age 73, of New Prague, formerly of Montgomery, died peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Mala Strana Assisted Living. Francis was born on July 9, 1948 in New Prague to Erwin H. and Mary E. (Ademmer) Schoenecker. He attended Holy Redeemer Catholic School and graduated from Montgomery High School. He worked for Minnesota Valley Breeders for many years and finished out his career as a machinist for Scott Equipment.

Francis was a private man who loved the outdoors and was an avid walker. He was a man of deep faith and loved nothing more than helping a neighbor or volunteer projects at church that involved helping people.

Francis is survived by his siblings, Mary (William) Nichols of Shakopee, James of Shakopee, JoAnn (Dennis) Seurer of New Prague, Dianne (John) Maxson of Montgomery; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry.

Private family services will be held.
