Our eldest daughter, Eve Marie Musil, passed away on December 13, 2021 in Gilbert AZ. She put up a good two-and-a-half-year fight against cancer! She fought the battles but, in the end, she lost the war.
Eve was born at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague, August 20, 1969. She was baptized, made her First Holy Communion and was confirmed all at Saint Wenceslaus Catholic Church. She attended Saint Wenceslaus Catholic School from 1st grade through 8th grade. While attending grade school, she played the role of funny Miss Bickle in one of the class plays; she also was the Statue of Liberty. Eve finished her schooling by graduating from New Prague High School.
For a short time, she worked at Valley Fair, Green Giant, and the paint department at Home Depot. Her career then took a permanent path when she joined the Target team. After moving to Arizona, she transferred to a Target store near her home town of Gilbert. The Target Corporation was Eve's home for a total of 15 years, 11 of them in Gilbert. While in Gilbert, she also worked part time at Dicks Sporting Goods Store for a short period. Eve will be forever loved and remembered for her great sense of humor, always on top of a joke!
