Eva M. Loeffler age 94 of Elko New Market, passed away on February 25, 2021. Eva was born on March 26, 1926 in Eydtkau, East Prussia (now known as Chernyshevskoye, Russia) to Berta Getzke.  She married Oscar Loeffler on May 20, 1953 in Munich, Germany and the couple emigrated to the United States in 1957.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Oscar, on September 25, 2014; grandson, Juergen Schermer; her mother.  She is survived by her son, Robert (Waltraud) Schermer of Munich, Germany; good friends, Kelley & Jim DeGross and family and Marri & Mark Fishel and family.

No services will be held.  Special thanks to the staff at St. Gertrude's Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care and comfort they provided to Eva following her stroke in 2018.
