Elaine Pavek, age 88, of New Prague, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at her home.  Elaine was born October 10, 1925 in Shakopee to August and Margaret (Heller) Dellwo. She graduated from Shakopee High School and after her marriage to Martin E. Pavek on October 30, 1948, moved to New Prague.  She worked as the office manager at The New Prague Times for 20+ years.  Elaine loved playing euchre in her spare time.

Elaine is survived by 2 children, Eloise Kyle of Oakdale, MN and Michael Pavek of Kilkenny; 2 grandsons, Michael (& Ayn) Pavek of Faribault and Matthew Pavek of New Prague; 2 great-grandchildren, Carter & Jarod Pavek.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin on December 7, 1999; son-in-law, Robert Kyle; her parents; brothers Marvin and August “Bud” Dellwo.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with visitation at the funeral home 1 hour prior to service, starting at 10:00 AM.  Interment will occur at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
