Dick McMahon, age 54, of New Prague, died Sunday at his home.  Dick was born August 14, 1958, in Mankato, MN to Harold “Mac” & Therese (Thielen) McMahon.  A lifelong resident of New Prague, Dick attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, New Prague High School, and Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis.  He was a Master Welder and worked at MVE/Chart for 35 years.  Dick was a member of the New Prague Sportsmen Club and a one time member of the New Prague Golf Club.  He enjoyed golf in his leisure time.

Dick is survived by special friend, Juanita Novak of Roseville, MN; his daughters, Lindsay (& Matt) Mauritz of Litchfield and Jamie McMahon (& fiance, Michael Mohlin, Jr. ) of Shakopee; parents, Harold & Terry McMahon of New Prague; siblings, Peg McMahon (& life partner, Eric Moses) of Big Fork, Jim (& Linda) McMahon of Prior Lake, Bob (& Peggy) McMahon of Ladysmith, WI, Dave (& Diane) McMahon of Tomahawk, WI, Betty (& Tom) Murphy of Underwood, MN; many nieces & nephews.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with Father Dave Barrett officiating. Visitation will take place 2 hours prior.  Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, with Matt Mauritz & Mike Mohlin, Jr. serving as urn bearers.  Lunch following the burial will take place at the KC Hall.
