Charlotte A. Edberg, age 88, of Union Hill, MN, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025.

Charlotte was born on September 16, 1937, to Albert and Mary (Solheid) Weiers in New Prague, MN. She was raised in Union Hill and graduated from New Prague High School. In 1960, Charlotte married the love of her life, Gerald (Jerry) Edberg. Together, they began a beautiful journey that included moving around for Jerry's career before settling in Illinois, where they raised their three children.

Charlotte and Jerry returned to Minnesota, ultimately settling into a home on Cedar Lake. Their lake house became a cherished place where they hosted family gatherings and created lasting memories. Charlotte's love for family was evident in the way she participated in social events for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and loved to take boat rides and tours of the local area. Known for her warm, friendly nature, Charlotte was always eager to socialize and connect with others. Most importantly, Charlotte and Jerry were a true team. They were inseparable throughout their lives, and their love and companionship were a testament to the bond they shared. Charlotte's passing marks the end of a chapter, but we take comfort in knowing that she and Jerry are now together again. Charlotte's kindness extended beyond her family. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels for many years, offering a helping hand to those in need. Her generosity, spirit, and the joy she found in being with her loved ones will never be forgotten.

Charlotte is survived by her children, Michelle (Jerry) Dehnel, Brian (Dawn) Edberg, and Wendy (daughter-in-law) Edberg; grandchildren Zachary (Melinda) Edberg, Ashley (Frank) Derby, Amanda Edberg(Jordan Eigenheer), Luke Edberg, Dylan Edberg; great-grandchildren Steven, Robert, and Charlotte; siblings Carol (Bob) Rynda and Irene Weiers; many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald (Jerry) Edberg; son Robert Edberg; and siblings Jean Jirik, Art Weiers, and Bob Weiers.

A Catholic Funeral Service to celebrate Charlotte's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Bruzek Funeral Home, 610 Main Street E., New Prague, MN 56071. A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:00 AM. A luncheon to follow the service at Giesenbrau Brewery in New Prague. In lieu of flowers or donations, honor Charlotte's memory by helping others.
