Charles D. “Charlie” Jirovec, age 72, of New Prague, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at his home.  Charlie was born on July 18, 1943 at St. Paul, MN to George Michael and Loretta Marie (Doll) Jirovec.  He was raised in St. Paul and worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for Nordic Ware and for a private paint shop.

Charlie was well travelled particularly enjoying art museums.

He is survived by his daughter Martha Jirovec of Corvallis, Oregon; two brothers Thomas (& Hester) Jirovec of Cannon Falls, MN and Jim (& Susan) Jirovec of Austin, TX, and good friend Joe Maameri of New Prague.

Memorial service 11 AM Thursday Sept. 24, 2015 at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague with Pastoral Minister Mary Higgins officiating.  Visitation 1 hour prior.
