Burdette C. Stief, age 93, of Jordan, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville.  Burdette was born on March 23, 1924, in Aurelia, IA to Albert John and Ella Marie (Stabelfeld) Stief.   He graduated from the University of Minnesota, entered the US Army, and was a decorated WWII veteran.  Burdette was the former owner of Shakopee Ford and the owner of St. Lawrence Farms in Jordan.

Burdette is survived by his daughter, Heidi (& Sam) Suhl; 2 grandsons.  He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin Stief; sister, Ruby Ellerbusch.
