Beverly Ambroz, age 59, of New Prague, died Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  Bev was born May 15, 1954 in New Prague to Eugene S. & Delores E. (Solheid) Ambroz.  A resident of New Prague most of her life, Bev went to school at St. Wenceslaus Catholic School and New Prague High School.  She worked for many years as a nursing assistant in a Minneapolis nursing home and at US Steel in Montgomery.  Bev enjoyed people and any activities with people.

Bev is survived by her significant other, Thomas P. “Curly” Schoenbauer of New Prague; brother, Ken  (& Lynette) Ambroz of Savage; sisters, Karen Ambroz-Thompson of Eden Prairie, Judy (& Garret) Anderson-Pratt of Chanhassen; nieces & nephews, Dawndra Thompson, Jenny & Jessica Anderson, Joshua, Mattea, & Skylar Pratt, Mike Seidlitz.  Bev is preceded in death by her son, Aaron and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with Father Kevin Clinton officiating.  The visitation will be from  8:30 – 10:00 AM.  Interment will occur at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.  Lunch will follow at the Legion Clubroom in New Prague.
