Betty Reich, age 72, of Elko New Market, died peacefully, with her family present on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center. Betty was born on December 20, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama to Leo and Nora Belle (Cross) Ambrose. She grew up in Lakeland, Florida, where she graduated from high school. She worked as the head cashier for Winn-Dixie, where she met her future husband, Dellis Reich. The couple were married on September 13, 1976, in Florida and moved to Minnesota, finally settling in Maple Grove. Betty worked in the accounting department for Red Owl and most recently in accounting for a third party health insurer. In order to be closer to her daughter, Betty and Dellis moved to Elko New Market about 5 years ago. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and she remained connected and close to her Florida family despite living the majority of her life in Minnesota.
Betty is survived by her husband, Dellis, of Elko New Market; daughter, Stephanie (& Jason) Thesing of New Prague; granddaughters, Aubrey & Reagan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo & Nora.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 4 – 6 PM with a Service of Remembrance at 6:00 at Bruzek Funeral Home.
