Betty Lea Fjordbak, age 86, of Webster, died at her home on Monday, July 23. Funeral services will be Friday, 7/27/12, 10:00 a.m, at the Triumphant Life Church, Lonsdale, MN. Visitation one hour prior to services at church. Burial, Czech National Cemetery, New Prague, MN.
She was born on Feb. 6, 1926 to Rev. Lawrence B. & Eula (McLoud) Bell in Baxter, Iowa. She grew up in several mid-western states because her father was a minister at various churches. She married Norman E. Fjordbak on Sept. 12, 1945 in Storm Lake, Iowa. The couple lived many years in the Webster area where Betty Lea was a homemaker.
Survived by daughter, Glenda (Ron) Mixer, Lonsdale; 2 grandchildren; Rachelle (Michael) Kirkpatrick & Danielle (Joshua) Rudder; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, B. Wayne (Beverly) Belle of Fayettville, GA; sister, Wanda Shoff of Palmdale, CA and sister-in-law, JoAnn Bell of Clinton, IL.
She is preceded in death by her husband Norman E., in 2010; son, Norman Lee & brother, Billy Bell.
