Barbara L. Borden, age 52, a resident of the Dungarvin Community in Eden Prairie, died Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.

Barb was born to John & Gladys (Nelson) Borden on November 24, 1959 in Minneapolis.  She attended Hopkins High School and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.  She is survived by her father, John Borden; sister, Pam & Dan O’Brien; brother, John & Laura Borden.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys (Nelson) Borden.

Services will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 12 Noon at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel in Minneapolis with visitation 1/2 hour prior to service.  Burial at Lakewood Cemetery.  Family requests no flowers and memorials preferred to the MS Society or the American Diabetes Association.
