Ashley M. Olson, age 33, of Willmar, died tragically in a car accident on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Ashley was born on December 19, 1990, in Shakopee to Brenda Pecholt and Mark Olson. Ashley attended New Prague High School. She spent most of her life in the northern Minnesota area and most recently was the cook/manager at Sunray Bait & Tackle in Willmar. One of her greatest memories as a young girl, was the trip she took with her dad to Talladega Racetrack, where she saw Jeff Gordon, her favorite racer. Her sons were the center of her life. They enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially hunting and time at the lake fishing. Football became a favorite sport, with Ashley, the boys, and Grandpa Troy and Uncle Wayne playing in the backyard and also enjoying watching the Vikings! Her laughter and the smile that lit up her face will be missed by all who knew her.

Ashley is survived by her sons, Silace and Hunter Shipman; her father, Mark Olson of Alabama; her stepfather, Troy Schreier of New Prague; her grandmother, Charlotte Roduner; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Starnes.
