Anthony F (Tony) Dorzinski passed away peacefully at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
Tony was born on May 3, 1937, in New Prague to John and Anna Dorzinski. He attended St Wenceslaus School and New Prague High School graduating in 1955. He attended Vocational Baber School in Minneapolis and joined his dad in 1956 to begin his barbering career. Tony worked full-time for 45 years and part-time after that for 21 years cutting hair first with his dad for six years and then they were joined by his brother, Roman.
In 1962 he married Carolyn Pint and they shared 64 years of adventures together. They were parents to Craig (Tessa) Dorzinski and Coreen (Mike) Strukel.
Tony enjoyed traveling and enjoyed visiting other countries or just laying on the beach in Florida. He was always ready for a card game of Euchre, Bridge, or Sheephead. Spending time with family was always important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tony was a life long member of St Wenceslaus church and served as an usher for many years.
Tony is survived by his wife, Carolyn, two children Craig (Tessa) Dorzinski and Coreen (Mike) Strukel. Brother Roman (Mary) Dorzinski, and sister Kathy Gerdes; grandchildren, Andrew (Nikki) Dorzinski, Alli (Ryan) Dunn, and two step-children, Josh (Kenzie) Barnhouse, and Emily (Brendon) Caballero. Great grandchildren Wyatt Dorzinski and Blakely Dunn.
Preceded in death by his sister Rosemary (Bob) Nash.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 18, 2026 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, New Prague, with a visitation from 8:30 – 10:30 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague. Interment at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St Wenceslaus Church or St Wenceslaus School.
