Obituary

Angie Ruehling, age 70, of New Prague, died Monday, August 22, 2012 at Mayo Clinc Health Care System New Prague.  Angie was born February 12, 1942 in New Prague to Julius T. & Albina (Kriha) Bisek.  She was a lifelong resident of New Prague, graduating from New Prague High School.  She married Clarence N. Ruehling on May 6, 1967 in New Prague.  She worked as a seamstress for Munsingwear in Montgomery for 22 years and then as a waitress at Button’s Cafe and finally at Casey’s, both in New Prague. Angie loved going to Branson, MO, loved playing cards and Bingo, and loved going to Mystic Lake Casino.  She also took up embroidery as her mother had before her.

Angie is survived by her husband; daughter, LeeAnn Ruehling of New Prague; brother, Julius Bisek of New Prague; sisters, Julia Bisek of Minneapolis, Alice & William Janousek of Jordan, Juanita & Ed Hartman of Hampton, VA; sister-in-law, Lynette Bisek of New Prague.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerome Bisek.

Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home with visitation 2 hours prior to service.  Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in New Prague followed by lunch at the KC Hall.
