Alice Jindra, age 56, of New Prague, died at her home on Friday, January 16, 2015. Alice was born on September 15, 1958 in Northfield, Minnesota, to Alois & Stella (Havlicek) Pumper. She grew up in the Webster area and attended Immaculate Conception Parochial School and New Prague High School. She married Gregory G. Jindra on November 30, 1974 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale. Alice loved her job driving the student van for NPSD #721 for many years. She was a past member of the KC Auxiliary. She loved cooking, baking, gardening, and sewing but her favorite past-time was shopping!
Alice is survived by her husband, Greg of New Prague; children, Susan (& Mat) Burt of Shakopee, Brian (& Ann) Jindra of New Prague, Krystle (& Jason) Friedges of New Prague, Todd Jindra of Northfield; grandchildren, Dawson & Hailey Kukacka, Kjell & Bronte Burt, Carter & Lexie Fridges; siblings, Judy Leske of Tampa, FL, Glenn (& Rosie) Pumper of Webster, WI, Tom (& Linda) Pumper of Northfield, Gary Pumper of Prior Lake, Jeannie Heaney of Lakeville, Mary Pumper of South St. Paul, Bernie Pumper of Minneapolis, Loren (& Mary) Pumper of New Prague, Al (& Jean) Pumper of New Prague. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Teddy Pumper.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Church with Father Kevin Clinton officiating. Visitation will be held Monday 4-8 PM and Tuesday morning from 7:30 – 9:30 AM at Bruzek Funeral Home. Burial will occur at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery followed by lunch at the KC Hall in New Prague.
