Agnes A. Bastyr, age 92, of Belle Plaine, formerly of St. Patrick, died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Shakopee.  Agnes was born July 22, 1919 in Cedar Lake Township, Scott County, MN, to Mathias J. “Mike” & Mary S. “Mayme” (Sirek) Valek.  She was a lifelong resident of Cedar Lake Township and married Edward F. Bastyr on Sept. 21,  1037 at St. Wenceslaus Church in New Prague.

Agnes is survived by her children, Margaret Bartusek, Edward (& Mary Alice) Bastyr, Gerald (& Shirley) Bastyr, Karen (& Jerome) Zweber, Edith (& Glenn) Svoboda, Gloria (& Leo) Jacques, and Ron Bastyr; 38 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; sisters, Helen Simek, Marjorie (in infancy); daughter-in-law Marlene Bastyr; son-in-law Richard Bartusek.

Private family services will be held Wednesday, May 2nd.  Burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Cedar Lake Township.
